I couldn’t let another day pass without telling you how elated we are that we chose you and The Millennium Center for Kathryn’s wedding reception. Tracy could not get over how accommodating you were with their every request. It was an amazing experience from the beautiful décor to the unbelievable food. Everyone was talking about what a spectacular venue you have and they’re still raving about the food. The wedding was everything we could have imagined and more. We know that, in large part, we owe that to you, Cyndi, John, and the rest of your incredible staff. Thank you again for helping to make it one of the most memorable times in our lives.

My daughter’s wedding day was one of the greatest days of my life and the most fun I have ever had. That was only possible because of the Millennium Center. I have dined and/or attended many events at so called four and five star facilities. None of them hold a candle to Millennium Center. You are ten star, top drawer, over the top fantastic. Some of the best food I have ever eaten (seconded by the dozens of people that went back for seconds and thirds of the shrimp and grits, beef tenderloin and turkey with out of this world gravy). Best quality food and bar of any wedding reception I have ever attended. Jerome (your chef) is the bomb – super nice guy and great talent. The entire staff had such a complete consumer satisfaction focus and attention to detail that I was totally blown away.
The facility was great as well. It was beautifully decorated and the floor plan allows for such flexibility (band had its own dressing room; newlyweds had a private area to regroup, etc. before the wedding party was introduced; early arrivers at the reception were served appetizers and drinks in the lobby before the ball room was open.) And the ballroom- wow! Perfect for a band, plenty of room to dance, tons of tables (there was a seat available for every single guest) and still plenty of room for the buffet stages. All of this at a very, very reasonable price.
Anyone having a wedding reception in Winston-Salem would be crazy to go anywhere else. I just wish I had another daughter so I could do it again!
Greg, kudos to you and all of your family and staff that made this such a great day in our lives. You are the best!

Thank you, thank you for making our party so special! Everything went off without any glitches. You have a wonderful staff and they always were there to take care of our every need. It was so nice to come in and everything set up for us. Also, I like the cleanup! We are getting to old to take care of all that. Your room is a great set-up. I'm just glad we didn't exceed the number the room held. I was afraid it would as the numbers started coming in. The room served our purpose perfectly with the big square room effect and great parking lot. I'm afraid they didn't find the cozy patio, which really sold me on the place. I am sure glad you suggested putting the whicker on the front porch. There was always a group or two out there!
Again, my thanks for all you did for us. Everybody had a great time and your place received many compliments. There were many from the Winston area that attended, so hopefully that got your name out there, as a good place to have a party. Everybody knows about the Millennium at the old post office, but do not know about the North Point facility. In fact, I'll have to ask the boys how they found it, but glad they did!

Dear Greg, Edie and the rest of your wonderful Staff,
THANK YOU! We could not have asked for anything to be more wonderful. When we got home from Winston yesterday, we had messages from several people just to say how beautiful the wedding was and what a good time they had had. I went to school today, but I will have to confess that most of my day was consumed by "wedding talk". Even my principal would not stop talking about it, even when I said I had to get back to my room to teach Math! Everyone said that was the best food they had eaten in a long time.
Thanks again for helping to make Holly's dream wedding come true for she and Joey. It was beautiful!

Once again, I am already receiving emails from those attending tonight's event to say what a wonderful event we hosted. The consistent comment was "I had no idea that this lower level existed!" When I finally perused the venue was a totally engaged group having an incredible time! I love this space!!!
Thank you again for the incredible space, your engaging staff and one fabulous venue that sets the stage and exceeds our expectations! I love working with you and your staff! You are incredible!

I can’t even begin to tell you how much I appreciate everything you did to make our wedding such a success. Cyndi, John, you and the rest of the staff did an amazing job. The food was fabulous, the ballroom was gorgeous, and everything went absolutely perfectly. You all really went above and beyond and did more for us than I ever expected. Everyone was just raving about the venue and someone even said it was the best reception they had ever been to. I loved the fajita station and the rest of the food was delicious too. Thank you for saving the wedding party hors d'oeuvres from the cocktail hour-that was awesome. Thank you, thank you, thank you for everything!!!!!

Hi Greg,
My husband and I are both from Winston Salem and getting married here was important to us. From the very beginning of our wedding planning process we both knew that our event was going to be BIG. After a couple of months of researching, visiting, and cost gathering we decided the MC was the best venue for us. We wanted to contain as much of our wedding events into downtown Winston and the MC gave us the most bang for the buck. In the end we had close to 300 family members and friends attend our event.
The MC was great from the very beginning. It was wonderful to have the catering, venue set-up, and music be hosted by the same venue. They also provided a place for me and my bridesmaids to gather, have lunch and get ready the day of the wedding. It saved me a lot of time and effort because I could meet everyone in one meeting instead of several as we progressed through the planning. Also, the MC has done business with a lot of other great vendors in the area and they provided me with a list of suggestions to get me started.
The MC chefs and staff were also wonderful...the food was amazing and many of our guests still comment on the food at our reception. The staff was also professional, courteous, attentive and fun.
Overall, our event was wonderful. We couldn't have asked for more. The MC is the best place in town for a 'one-stop' venue for brides looking to have a small event or something big like ours. I would recommend it to everyone.

Please pass along our thanks to Greg and the entire staff for an absolutely wonderful evening! We received so many compliments on both the location and the food. Shannon was thrilled with the canopy and lighted/draped columns around the dance floor (and the white beaded trees, of course). I can't say enough about the ease of coordinating this event, as all of the staff's attention to detail and interest in our event made it actually pleasant to both plan and attend! Again, many thanks, and we will most certainly keep The Millennium Center in mind for future events.

This is a very belated THANK you for providing the best food, best music and the best service for our 50th Anniversary party. Everyone has commented about how delicious the tenderloin and shrimp and grits and the fabulous potatoes were. Best of all, they were served hot! Your amazing gifts of time and talent helped to make the premiere of ACS Dining With Friends Finale and Fashion Show a huge success. We’ve heard nothing but raves about the Millennium Center and hope we can work together next year. With the money raised at this event we will be able to continue providing critical care and prevention services to more than 425 people living with HIV/AIDS in this region.

Hey Greg! I just wanted to thank you one more time for the awesome event you put on for us this morning! You are a class act, always willing to go the extra mile, and we appreciate the great setup we had as well as the wonderful lunch. You were right!! You got 315 people through the lunch line in 13 minutes! That's a great record!! : ) After talking to many people during lunch, everyone was very impressed with your facilities, your hi-tech capabilities (which I understand are expanding), the great food, etc. Thanks also for being willing to do the balloons for us. That was a great addition!

Wanted to thank you again for your great work in handling Holly’s and Alex’s wedding reception this past Saturday night. From the start (last year when we visited the Millennium Center for the first time) all the way through to the wedding reception held this past Saturday night, you and your staff were there to answer questions and coordinate details with us every step of the way. We truly appreciated your professionalism and attention to every detail that made the night so wonderful for everyone! We will certainly recommend you to anyone needing any of the services you have to offer.
As we were collecting everything after the reception was over on Saturday night (gifts, centerpiece vases, etc.) we had to call on the help of some of your staff several times, and Patrick there was such a big help to us in all kinds of ways. I think he made several trips back and forth, downstairs, upstairs, etc., just to get what we needed, whether it was a paper plate and saran wrap for the last cake pieces, or a big box to carry out all the vases. All the while, Patrick did everything with a smile on his face.
Thank you again for everything! We wish you continued success in the future!

Dear Gregory and Staff,
On behalf of the entire Wells-Gilbert wedding party I would like to sincerely thank you for your exceptional job in catering such a wonderful experience for us. When we first visited Winston-Salem in order to secure a suitable venue for our son’s rehearsal dinner, we were at a total loss. What could have been a difficult undertaking turned out to be so much fun when we by chance discovered the Millennium Center!
From our initial consultation with you, to the many long distance emails, you were always very accommodating and never bothered by our endless questions. You have an outstanding staff that can handle even the strangest request. Who would have thought that the bartender would have the exact computer cable that was needed at the last minute and then went home to retrieve it for us!
We are so impressed with the passion and care that you have put into the adaptive reuse of your magnificent historic building. Winston-Salem should be very proud to have such an outstanding enterprise within their city. Our guests were so impressed and thrilled to be invited to explore the building! Many of them are still talking about it.
As with any momentous event, I wish that we could rewind the entire weekend and do it all over again. I wouldnt change a thing! If we are ever in Winston-Salem in the future, we will surely stop by and say hello.

Thank you for an absolutely breath-takingly spectacular social and rehearsal dinner in honor of our son and his bride to be.
When you descried and envisioned how exquisite it would be, we had no idea of how the entire evening would sparkle and shine- but sparkle and shine it did! The social was a major hit and the meal a stunning homerun. You and your staff were impeccable with your service and support. The evening exceeded our expectations and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

For our wedding, we wanted to find a unique venue. We visited MANY different places and I knew of quite a few since I had been a banquet manager at a local hotel for over 7 years. When we went into the Millennium Center to look around, we were amazed with the style and architecture of the facility. We then contacted the owner, Greg Carlyle, and boy, were we even more amazed! Greg was spectacular! He had tons of ideas for us & fulfilled everything he promised & so much more for our wedding! We could not have been more pleased with the facility, the staff, and the food. It was the most wonderful experience all around!
